Do not trust hype alone

Words such as “best,” “must-have” or “popular” do not tell you anything about the actual product. Replace the promotional label with the product type, intended use, exact option and the question you need answered. If nothing useful remains, do not save the row.

Read reviews for details, not just the star rating

One review describes one person’s order, route, date and expectations. Several recent reviews may reveal a repeated problem, but each still needs context. Compare what people report with the current official policy that applies to your question.

Useful reviews say what was ordered, when it happened, which service was used and how the problem was handled. Be cautious with strong conclusions that give no timeline or specific details.

Check the row and the page it opens

A newly published page can still contain old links. Compare the spreadsheet label with the destination title, visible option and current product details. If several rows fail this check, use the sheet only for ideas.

A well-kept list removes broken links, labels options consistently and explains important changes. A recent date alone is not enough.

Photos should answer questions

A Yoybuy quality check is useful only when the photos show the details relevant to that category. A large image count can still omit the insole, garment measurement, bag interior, clasp or other area that affects the decision.

Check that QC photos appear to show the same item and option described in the row. If the colour, dimensions or included pieces differ, pause the comparison.

Sizing matters more than popularity

Fit depends on item-specific measurements and how they were taken. Generic size letters or “fits normally” comments should not outweigh a clear insole, chest, length, waist or dimension reference. Compare the numbers with an item you already know rather than assuming labels are universal.

Know what the price includes

Compare prices only after you know the exact option, quantity, included pieces and destination page. A number that refers to a different product or leaves out an important part is not a fair comparison. Low price does not prove value, and high price does not prove quality.

Shipping weight changes the real decision

Heavy fabrics, rigid shapes, hardware, boxes and protective packing can change the whole comparison. Add a weight note before saving the row, even if it is only an estimate. Write down what is not included and read the shipping weight guide before treating a calculator result as final.

Red flags worth removing

  • The category label and destination describe different items.
  • Only a distant or heavily cropped photo is available.
  • Fit-sensitive clothing has no usable measurements.
  • The link changes to an unrelated page or option.
  • The price is highlighted but the included variant is unclear.
  • A converter or source label is treated as a verification badge.
  • Shipping or support claims have no current official source.
  • You cannot explain why the row belongs in the shortlist.
